I primarily work with SharePoint specialising in document centric business processes from capture, scanning, routing through case management workflows and storage within SharePoint or an Electronic Document and Records Management System. I have seen some fairly bizzare code examples in my time, the entire dailywtf website is dedicated to such examples. In this case it is obvious that the author got carried away with copy and paste that they were loosing the ability to read. Stumbling across this level of duplication is becoming a daily event in my current role, unfortunately so is creating this level of duplication of code.
