 Dalby Forest Minimize
I have been spending a bit of time at Dalby forest recently and am impressed at how dry the trails remain in spite of all weather conditions.  One weekend the ground was thick of snow, everywhere apart from the trail.  Respect to http://www.singletraction.org.uk/ for their efforts in making Dalby one of the best man made cycle trails in the North.
 Welcome to DavidHalligan.com Minimize

Welcome to my space on the internet.

I use this website to store and share pictures of my cycling adventures.  I spend just about every other weekend climing dales and decending hills on one of my bikes.  This website will hopefully become a collection of pictures from ourbest and worst rides.

On the 11th of May 2007 I had the worst ride of my life to date.  The day started with a promising ride through Dalby forest on the red and black trails that have become our regular weekend haunt. I have ridden these trails tens of times and feel very competent cycling what has become a familar trail. This time however was different, my cycling buddy who has been inactve for some time due to a knee injury was bringing his new girlfriend and we were going to show her the ropes, how to get along without falling off.  Ironic really that the day ended with me in an ambulance being shipped to the nearest accident and emergency with what has become the worst injury I have ever had.
